At Hamlet Reads, we value the quality of the literature we provide. Our policy for returns and exchanges is as follows:
Exchange Window
We offer a 3-day exchange policy from the date of purchase or delivery.
Book Condition
Books must be returned in their original, pristine condition – unmarked, uncreased, and with any original plastic wrapping intact.
Misprints and Damages
If a book is found to have manufacturing defects (missing pages, misprints, or significant transit damage), we will provide a full exchange.
Proof of Purchase
A valid physical receipt or digital order confirmation from Hamlet Reads is mandatory for all claims.
Stationery Items
Sealed stationery and journals can be exchanged within 3 days if the packaging remains unopened.
Wholesale Returns
Wholesale/bulk orders are subject to a separate inspection process and are only eligible for exchange in case of wrong titles or defects.
Change of Mind
Exchanges for «change of mind» are allowed within 24 hours, provided the book is in perfectly sellable condition.
Sale Items
Books purchased during «Clearance Sales» or «Stock Clearance» are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return Shipping
For out-of-city orders, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the book to our Lahore hub, unless the error was ours.
Refund Process
Approved refunds (where exchanges aren’t possible) will be processed via Bank Transfer or EasyPaisa within 7–10 business days.
